Author Spotlight: M.G.
M.G. is a stay-at-home-mother of three, self-proclaimed coffee addict, wife, and lover of all things spicy. Her debut novel, Bound To You, was released in December, 2025.
As a debut author, sitting down to write your first pages can be paralyzing. There is white space on page after page, and no one but you can fill it. It’s a daunting task, which is why many books that do get started never make it to the finish line. Luckily, no one told this to M.G. She had a story to tell, with bold characters, workplace romance, and enough spice to raise an eyebrow at your local buffalo chicken spot. And when she sat down to write it, the words took on a life of their own. She finished her first book, Bound To You, in under a month.
Bound to You is a tale of wealth and power in real estate colliding with a grieving widow, Hope, who is trying to get her life back on track following the death of her husband three days before their daughter’s first birthday. The book launched in December, and readers can expect more to come in this series!
M.G.'s biggest piece of advice for new authors?
“Just do the damn thing. It’s okay to be scared or nervous, but you can’t let that stop you. EVERYONE starts somewhere. You think Brynne Weaver, Navessa Allen, SJM, or Rebecca Yarros wrote their number 1 sellers right off the bat? Hell no! Everyone starts somewhere, and the only way to improve and be the next NYT bestselling author is to do the thing and keep doing it.”
